Lenape High School Football enters the week with a 4-1 record.
The next game on the calendar is an away game at Camden Catholic High School, Cherry Hill, NJ on Friday, October 18. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
According to Coach Joe Wojceichowski,
"Coming out a bye week, I think it is important to have a fast start.
That begins with executing assignments and being focused from the opening kick. If we have 11 players on the field focused on doing their job, it will be a successful night for our program.
I think the key to the game is to dominate the line of scrimmage and limit big plays defensively.
Our guys have had a great two weeks of practice and
are looking forward to getting back to doing what they love."
Impressive player stats for the season so far include:
RB Xavier Coleman has 11 total TDs, 5 rushing, 4 receiving, 2 returns
Hamza Bruce leads team with 383 rushing yards
Conner Kennedy #1 receiver w/17 catches, 279 yards, 6 scores along with 2 return touchdowns
Clyde Washington has team high 10 tackles for loss and 4 sacks
