On Thursday August 20th, the Mount Laurel Police Department (MLPD) hosted “Cops and Bobbers,” a community outreach event where local children from the Township came out and fished with members of the MLPD. The MLPD hosts community outreach events like Cops and Bobbers throughout the year to reach out and connect with Mt. Laurel community residents and neighbors.
Mount Laurel Councilman Kurt Folcher attended the event with his daughter and broke out his own fishing rod. Councilman Folcher said “I’m extremely proud of the Mount Laurel Police Department for hosting events like this. The MLPD is one of the best police departments in New Jersey. I’m looking forward to seeing the MLPD continue its community outreach programming.”
